About Roger
Roger is a very knowledgeable and
experienced horticulturalist and has been in the industry
virtually all his working life. In his early years Roger was
growing vegetables and flowers professionally with his
family, but soon branched out into the landscaping business,
and has subsequently landscaped hundreds of commercial
properties in the Seattle and Bellevue area. On meeting his
wife, Elsie, they moved down to the more peaceful
environment of Enumclaw and the surrounding areas, where
they could lovingly take care of their nursery stock and
share their extensive knowledge of plants, shrubs and trees with their new customers.
About Elsie
Elsie was born and raised on a farm in Enumclaw, and is
no stranger to the horticulture business. She has many years
experience in the floral industry where she has learned the
flower trade as well as her management skills in the produce
department of many stores. In pursuit of her interest in all
things horticultural, Elsie attended Washington State
University and gained a degree in Ornamental Horticulture.
Elsie was torn between a career in Agriculture or
Horticulture, but on meeting Roger, she followed him down
the path of horticulture to Enumclaw, and, as they say, the rest is
history.
Elsie says that anyone that comes in to buy plants and
other stock benefits not only in receiving fine quality
stock, but they also get to learn a little about the plants
they are buying and how to take care of them properly.

expert - ask her to tell you her secrets.
About Katie
Katie - Roger and Elsie's daughter - quite naturally has
been brought up in and around Roger Cross Nursery and Garden
Center. From an early age she has been learning all about
the various plants, shrubs, trees and bushes that pass
through the nursery each week. She has become very
knowledgeable in the horticulture industry and is quite
capable of discussing the properties of nursery stock right
off the top of her head. Anyone that deals with Katie will
have an equally rewarding experience as they would with her
parents.
